At Mountain Sage we take our books and maps seriously. Maps and books each have their own room, the Book Nook complete with a cozy couch. Borrow your favorite book or map and take it to the café patio or hammock garden for further inspection!

The Map Room has a wonderful 3-D relief map of the surrounding area to find your way to your destination and to educate yourself on the wonderful topography of the Central Sierra. We specialize in USGS maps, as well as National Geographic Destination Maps of the local Sierra, and Tom Harrison maps. Other maps include road maps and kid friendly maps to help make your next trip more interesting.
